Pre-Kindergarten (4 - 5 Years)

Every kid is a SMART kid – that’s the philosophy behind everything we do at Tutor Time. At this age, the Tutor Time® LifeSmart™ curriculum builds on your child’s cognitive, social and emotional needs in preparation for the kindergarten classroom. Aligned with standards set forth by national accrediting associations, this curriculum cultivates all the ways children are smart. Want proof? A recent kindergarten preparedness study showed that children in our program made substantial gains in development and had the necessary skills to enter and excel in kindergarten.

Lessons are designed to ensure that children grasp concepts in ways that are most meaningful to them. Classrooms include learning centers designed around these “smarts” to encourage independent discovery. So in addition to the 3 Rs, your child will learn to love learning.

Meet Our Staff

Jacklyn Wyatt
Lead Teacher

My name is Jacklyn, but my friends call me “Jacky.” I was born in Corpus Christi, lived in San Antonio but have called Austin home since I was ten. Recently I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Concordia University and completed my certification for early childhood through six-grade. I also have over five years experience in preschool within the Tutor Time family.

In my spare time I love to be with my family and participate in any and all outdoor activities, especially those that include sun and water!

I am very excited to be the Lead Pre-K teacher and preparing my students for kindergarten!

Dani Feibleman
Assitant/Floater

Dani was born in Austin, Texas and has been working with children since the age of 12, when she started as a babysitter. She has been working in childcare facilities at age 16 and has been in the childhood education field ever since. Dani has also been a children’s swim instructor, basketball coach, and is currently a karate instructor.
Dani is pursuing a Child Development Associates Certificate and hopes to one day be elementary school gym coach. When she is not busy teaching children, she enjoys every kind of sport, reading, painting, writing poetry, and hanging out with her brother Corin, who is 3, and sister Ryanne, who is 6. She is so happy to be a part of our children’s learning, growth and development.
