Infants are constantly growing, learning and changing. So between the cooing and cuddling, our teachers delight in your baby’s every advancement and provide endless opportunities for development and discovery. Kara Sharkey
Lead Teacher Infant I

Kara is orginally from New York and has lived in Austin for about 13 years. She has over 17 years of childcare experience. Throughout her professional experience she has held positions of personal nanny, assistant teacher and lead teacher at different age levels. She has a Certificate in Child Day Care Management from Thomson Education Direct, and currently she is working on completing her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development. What she loves most about working with kids is watching them learn and grow in a loving environment, and knowing that she played a key role in such a rewarding task. In the future, she plans to open an early childhood education program. In her spare time, she enjoys arts and crafts, going to the movies and spending time with her friends, her family and her pets.


Kelly Eason
Lead Teacher Infant II

Hello! My name is Kelly. I am originally from Vernon, Texas. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies with a World Cultures focus. I have 3 and a half years of licensed child care experience, having been a lead teacher, an assistant, and a floater in all ages. I have found that I especially love the infant classes. Watching them discover the world around them and helping them learn is an absolute pleasure.

In my spare time, I love to be with my family, read, and play guitar. I also love photography and traveling the world. I have lived in India. I have been to Belize, England, and the Arctic Circle.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of your children’s growth and success!


Manda Chacharkar
Lead Teacher Infant III

Manda Chacharkar was born and raised in India. She moved to the United States in 2000. She has a Bachelors degree in Arts as well as Bachelors in Education, and a Masters degree in English Literature. She has been working in childcare for the past year and loves to work with children. Her hobbies include playing with her kids, cooking, watching television, going to the movies, and creative, adventurous work. She loves nature, especially searching for different types of flowers. She is excited to be working at Tutor Time Canyon Creek, and is dedicated to creating a nurturing and caring atmosphere for your children.


Lindsey Willis
Assistant Teacher

Lindsey was born and raised right here deep in the heart of Texas! She graduated from Westwood High School with studies in Early Childhood Education. Along with her love for children, Lindsey has a passion for cooking, the great outdoors as well as spending time with her family and friends. She hopes to continue her education in Early Childhood and wants a family of her own someday.

The most rewarding part of Lindsey’s day is “Putting a smile on my children’s faces, watching them grow mentally and physically and knowing I was a positive impact on their day!” For Lindsey every day is new and she strives do her part to make a difference.


Bonnie Johnson
Assistant Teacher

Yvonne Johnson was born in Victoria, Texas and moved to Austin in 1993. She has been married for four years and has three children. She has over five years experience in child care with age groups ranging from infants to school-age.

In her spare time she likes to shop and enjoy her children’s extracurricular activities. As a teacher, she most enjoys seeing how all children develop differently and loves watching them grow and prosper in life.
