My wonderful experience teaching and caring for children began in 1991 when I created my own “home” child care. We grew from 1 to 12 children and had a wonderful little family. We moved to the Austin area in 1996, I was fortunate enough to be offered a teaching job at Hilltop Child Care in Cedar Park. I planted my feet there for five years, took advantage of an opportunity to teach at Tutor Time on Parmer and Dallas Dr. My career in Child Care flourished as I started classes at ACC for my CDA, (accomplished), the Director’s program, (accomplished), during that time I also took 40 hours with the National Child Care Association and received an Administrator’s Credentials. I am fortunate to also have a “permanent” license for Directorship through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Now, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to help create a wonderful place for children at our new Tutor Time. My husband, son and daughter-in-law are my strength to achieve all that I can for the future of all children. My vision for this school is to have many, many happy, loving, well adjusted children in this wonderful learning environment.

Amanda Krejci

Amanda Krejci is originally from Moulton, Texas and has lived in Austin for five years. She graduated from the Texas Culinary Academy Le Cordon Blue in 2006 and worked as a bakery chef for three years with Word of Mouth Catering. She has prior experience working with children, including three years at a Montessori school. What Amanda loves about working with children is the knowledge that she can help make their future better. In her free time she likes spending time with her friends and family.
